We get it…Wills and LPAs aren’t the most ‘sunny’ of tasks to complete…… ‘depressing’, ‘boring’….are some clients’ comments, but when completed it’s a reassuringly good job done…like arranging home and life insurance.

Like most things in life, you can draft your own wills and LPAs and it’s cheap, but many people have questions and require guidance – tricky with an online form and potentially dangerous asking a search engine!

In some cases clients have the best intentions to protect themselves and their loved ones but fail to make the first step, typically arranging a meeting with a Solicitor.

You have three basic options:

– Do it yourself.
– Engage a Will Writer/ Estate Planner.
– Engage a Solicitor.

As a rule of thumb the costs to complete the work roughly double as you move through the options (see ‘Fees’ section for ours).

If your circumstances and needs are more complex, then a Solicitor is still your best option e.g., if you have a potentially large estate, complex business interests or require bespoke Trusts.

If your circumstances and needs are not complex, one phone call to us could be all you need to get it done – we will meet you to discuss our service and your options.

If we agree to work together, we will guide you through the process.

If you do not wish to proceed after the initial consultation there is no charge….in fact there is no charge until the draft documents are in your hands.
